According to reports, Victor Osimhen wants to leave Napoli, although no deal has been made during this summer’s transfer window. The Nigerian striker has been connected to Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Arsenal, but no deal has been reached as of yet.
As the transfer season closes, Arsenal is reportedly putting in a serious bid for Osimhen, according to RadioRadio. He appears to have already decided to sign with PSG, though, as they are paying him a lot more than Arsenal does. Furthermore, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano recently stated that a Chelsea transfer would only occur through a loan.
Ben Jacobs, a journalist, has also noted that Osimhen is becoming agitated and is hoping Napoli will be more accommodating with his release clause. Still, relocating to the French capital seems dire currently
Manager Luis Enrique is reportedly not a huge fan of Osimhen’s profile, according to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport. He isn’t sure that the striker now playing for Napoli is the person he needs up front to execute his playstyl
The Nigerian international has scored 76 goals in 133 games since moving from LOSC Lille in Ligue 1 to Napoli, with 65 of those goals coming in Serie A. Osimhen was also essential to Napoli’s 2022–2023 league championship victory.
